How to make it

  • In saucepan of boiling, salted water cook 1 lb trimmed green beans for 7 minutes; drain.
  • In same pan, heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil over medium heat; cook 2 cloves garlic, minced, and 1/4 tsp dried thyme for 1 minute. Return beans to pan; toss with salt and pepper.
