Candied Dills

- 1 quart whole dill pickles shopping list
- 2-3/4 cups sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup tarragon vinegar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons pickling spice shopping list
How to make it
- Drain pickles, then cut them into 1/2" slices and place in a deep glass bowl or ceramic dish. Combine pickles with sugar and vinegar. Place pickling spices in small square of cheesecloth and tie it closed with a string. Add spices to the bowl. Let pickle mixture stand at room temperature until sugar is dissolved approximately 4 hours. Pour pickle mixture into a 1-quart jar then cover and refrigerate. Remove spice bag after 1 week and they will be ready to eat.
