Ingredients
  • 4 15 oz cans pear halves or sliced Pears
  • 1 package White Cake Mix (I use Betty Crocker Classic White)
  • Ground Cinnamon to taste (I an abundance)
  • 1/3 Stick Butter

Directions
  1. Pour Pears out of cans into a 12 inch dutch oven (I use a Lodge Logic cast iron Dutch oven). Spread cake mix evenly over the top of Pears. Sprinkle cinnamon on top (I completely smother the cake mi with Cinnamon). Cut Butter into several equally sized slices and place at intervals on top. Place lid on Dutch oven. Cook for 45 minutes with 15 hot (Gray) charcoal briquettes under the dutch oven, and 10 hot (Gray) charcoal briquettes on the lid.
