Delicious Russian Strawberry Cake

- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 5.3 oz butter shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1 tablespoon vanilla powder shopping list
- 1 tsp lemon juice shopping list
- 1.1 pound strawberries : ) shopping list
How to make it
- Separate egg whites from their yolks.
- Blend egg yolks with sugar and 1/2 tbsp vanilla powder.
- Add soft butter, flour, and baking powder.
- Mix well until crumbs are formed.
- Set 2 tablespoons of crumbs aside.
- Grease a baking or springform pan.
- Line the bottom with crumbed dough.
- Preheat oven to 355 degrees F and bake bottom of cake for 20-25 minutes.
- Blend egg whites with lemon juice and 1/2 tbsp vanilla powder. DON'T WHIP.
- Take baking pan out of the oven. Arrange strawberries on the bottom of the cake.
- Sprinkle dough crumbs over and cover with the egg whites mixture.
- Bake for another ten minutes and enjoy!
