Ingredients
  • Pudding:
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup coffee cream
  • 1/4 cup butter

Directions
  1. Add soda to molasses and stir in boiling water
  2. Mix flour with baking powder and salt
  3. stir into molasses
  4. Toss berries in a little flour and add to batter
  5. Pour into greased 1 quart mold
  6. Cover top with greased paper
  7. Make a pleat in the paper in the center and then lay over pudding tie onto mold
  8. Pleat allows the pudding to expand if need be
  9. Steam 1/2-2 hours
  10. Sauce
  11. Combine all in a saucepan cook on low
  12. Pour over pudding when serving
