I got this recipe from my sister, who got it from her friend! Its one of those recipes that you just want to pass around!

Ingredients
  • 6 green apples, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • brown sugar and cinnamon
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder

Directions
  1. lightly grease a 9x13 pan
  2. place sliced apples to cover bottom of the pan
  3. sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon
  4. spread on top the cherry pie filling
  5. mix together the rest of the cake ingredients
  6. pour on the apple/cherry
  7. sprinkle lightly with cinnamon
  8. bake at 350 for 1 hr or until inserted toothpick comes out clean
