A spin on sheperds pie

- 2 lbs russet potatoes shopping list
- 1 lb ground beef shopping list
- 3 medium carrot shopping list
- 1 small onion shopping list
- 1 tbls veg oil shopping list
- 2 tbls butter or margarine shopping list
- enough milk to make potaoes creamy shopping list
- 1/2 cup shredded chedder cheese shopping list
- 1 packet of brown gravy mix shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- dice carrots and onions into half inch chunks
- cook in oil till onions are transparent
- add beef to skillet and cook till brown and carrots are soft
- peel and boil potatoes
- make gravy according to directions on pack
- mix the gravy with beef mixture
- add salt and pepper
- mash potatoes bot leave a little cunky
- ad butter/margarine and milk
- put beef mix into a 2 quart casarole and top with potatoes
- top with cheese
- bake in 400F oven until golden
