How to make it

  • Add cream of tatar to the boiling water
  • add sugar to water
  • bring to a boil and drop in the whole crackers
  • boil exactly 1 minute
  • pour into unbaked pie shell
  • sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar
  • bake in preheated over at 400 degrees for 10 minutes
  • reduce heat to 350 and bake for 15 minutes
