TASTE LIKE THANKSGIVING CASSEROLE

- Ingredients: shopping list
- 6 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes shopping list
- 1 ¼ cups chopped celery shopping list
- ¾ cup chopped onion shopping list
- ½ cup butter, cubed shopping list
- 6 cups unseasoned stuffing cubes shopping list
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning shopping list
- ¼ tsp. rubbed sage shopping list
- 1 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth shopping list
- 4 cups cubed cooked turkey shopping list
- 2 cans ( 10 ¾ -oz each ) reduced-fat reduced-sodium condensed cream of chicken soup,undiluted shopping list
- 1 tsp. garlic powder shopping list
- ¾ cup light sour cream, divided shopping list
- 4-oz 1/3 less fat cream cheese, softened shopping list
- ½ tsp. pepper shopping list
- ¼ tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 ½ cups ( 6-oz ) reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven at 350.
- Place potatoes in a Dutch oven and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook for 15 – 20 minutes or until tender.
- Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute celery and onion in butter until tender. Remove from the heat. In a large bowl, combine the stuffing cubes, poultry seasoning and sage. Srit in broth and celery mixture. Transfer to a greased 13-inch x 9-inch baking dish.
- In another large bowl, combine the Turkey, soup, garlic powder and ¼ cup sour cream; spoon over stuffing mixture. Drain potatoes; mash in a large bowl. Beat in the cream cheese, pepper, salt and remaining sour cream; Spread over turkey mixture. Sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake, un-covered, at 350 for 30 – 35 minutes or until heated through.
