How to make it

  • Combine all pie crust ingredients; press over bottom and up sides of 9-inch pie plate, reserve.
  • Beat cream cheese at medium speed of a mixer until smooth.
  • Gradually add the sugar, beating until blended.
  • Gently fold in whipped topping.
  • Reserve 1/4 mixture.
  • Combine remaining mixture and cherry pie filling.
  • Top with reserved mixture.
  • Chill for about 1 hour.
