CHRISTMAS BAKED APPLES WITH RED WINE

Ingredients
- 8 apples, cored shopping list
- Cherry or strawberry preserves shopping list
- 1/2 c. sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. mace or nutmeg shopping list
- 1 c. red wine shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract shopping list
How to make it
- Place apples in a buttered casserole or baking dish. Fill each with preserves. Blend sugar and mace; stir in wine and vanilla extract. Pour over apples. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Chill 2 to 4 hours before servings.
