This is a great customizable recipe for camping. It's quick, easy, and delicious! Plus, kids love eating and making them. They can be made on a sandwich maker at home too! They are sealed shut, so they aren't that messy.

Ingredients
- Butter
- Bread
- Filling
- Cast Iron Camping Cooker or Sandwich Maker
Directions
- Butter one side of two peices of bread.
- Place the bread pieces butter-side down on the cast-iron camping cooker or sandwhich maker.
- Place in your favorite filling!
- For S'more Pudgie Pies add marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate.
- For Toasted Cheese Pudgie Pies just add cheese.
- For Toasted PB&J Pudgie Pies add peanut butter and jelly.
- For Fruit Pudgie Pies add your favorite pie filling.
- For Pizza Pudgie Pies add pizza sauce, cheese, and your favorite pizza toppings.
- You can add anything - ham & cheese, meatballs, etc to make your favorite toasted sandwiches!

We love this. Not just for camping. Sometimes we have huge bon fires and and cook out. This is what every wants! Never enough irons to make these pies. We call them mountain pie. Glad you posted this. Its fun and delicious. Kids actually fight to eat!
