VANILLA CREAM FRUIT TART

- Ingredients: shopping list
- ¾ cup butter, softened shopping list
- ½ cup confectioners' sugar shopping list
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 package ( 10-oz ) vanilla or white chips, melted and cooled shopping list
- ¼ cup heavy whipping cream shopping list
- 1 package ( 8-oz ) cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced shopping list
- 1 cup fresh blueberries shopping list
- 1 cup fresh raspberries shopping list
- ½ cup pineapple juice shopping list
- ¼ cup sugar shopping list
- 1 Tbs. cornstarch shopping list
- ½ tsp. lemon juice shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven at 325.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and confectioners' sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in flour ( mixture will be crumbly ). Pat into a greased 12-inch pizza pan. Bake at 325 for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool.
- I n another bowl, beat melted chips and cream until smooth. Beat in cream cheese until smooth. Spread over crust. Chill for 30 minutes. Arrange berries over filling.
- In a small saucepan, combine the pineapple juice, sugar, cornstarch and lemon juice; bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Cool; brush over fruit. Chill 1 hour before serving. Store in the refrigerator.
