LICORICE FLUFF PIE

- 3 cups mini white marshmallows shopping list
- 2/3 cup half and half (cream) shopping list
- 1 tsp anise extract (could add a little more depending on your love of licorice) shopping list
- 2 egg whites shopping list
- 3 tbsp sugar shopping list
- 1 half tub Cool Whip shopping list
- 1 ready made chocolate cookie pie crust shopping list
- Several black jube jubes or gumdrops for garnish shopping list
How to make it
- Combine marshmallows and cream in a saucepan and heat on medium, stirring until melted.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in extract.
- Chill until mixture thickens, stir occasionally.
- Pour off any of the excess liquid.
- While waiting, beat eggs until soft peaks form, then slowly add the sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
- Remove marshmallow mixture from the fridge and fold in the egg mixture and the cool whip.
- Spoon mixture into pie crust.
- Top with jube jubes placed around the top outside of the pie.
- Chill 4 hours or more.
