How to make it

  • Cut chicken into pieces. Combine salt, pepper and flour. Dredge chicken in seasoned flour, shaking off excess and reserving flour. Brown chicken in oil about 3-5 minutes per side until golden. Remove chicken pieces. Turn heat down to medium and add green onions, celery and onion to skillet drippings.
  • Cook 5 minutes. Add reserved seasoned flour and continue to cook
  • 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and return chicken to skillet. Bring
  • to a simmer, partially cover and cook 35-40 minutes. Serve with rice.
