Dutch Apple Cheesecake

Classic apple and spice flavors with crumb topping.
Ingredients
- Use cinnamon cookie crust - see crust post shopping list
- 2 pounds Philly cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups sugar shopping list
- 4 Tbsp flour shopping list
- 5 large eggs shopping list
- 2 tea. apple pie spice shopping list
- 1/2 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 3 or 4 apples(I use Ida Reds) shopping list
- 1 stick butter, softened shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 500^.
- Blend cream cheese, sugar and flour until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time.
- Add pie spice, then cream,mixing thoroughly.
- Set aside.
- Peel, core, and slice apples.
- Layer evenly in prepared pan.
- Pour batter over apples.
- Bake at 500^ for 15 minutes.
- Reduce temp to 250^ and continue baking for 55 minutes.
- Blend butter, flour, and brown sugar with pastry cutter 'til crumbly.
- After 55 minutes of baking, spread crumbs on top of cake.
- Bake for another 10-15 minutes.
- Let cool and refrigerate before serving.
