Mandarin Orange Kaesekuchen

- 2-314ml. can mandarin oranges shopping list
- 125g. reserved juices shopping list
- 10 medium eggs shopping list
- 375g. sugar shopping list
- 2pks. vanilla sugar shopping list
- pinch of salt shopping list
- 1tsp. unsalted butter; to grease springform shopping list
- 1.5kg. quark shopping list
- 250g. heavy cream shopping list
- 250g. mascarpone shopping list
- 75g. ground almonds shopping list
- 2pks. Dr. Oetker vanilla pudding powder shopping list
- 50g. sliced almonds shopping list
How to make it
- Drain mandarin oranges, saving juice.
- Beat the eggs in large bowl about 10 minutes until thick and creamy.
- Add sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt.
- Stir in the quark, cream, mascarpone, juice, and 50g. ground almonds.
- Sieve the pudding powder into the mixture, mixing well.
- Then carefully folk in 4/5 of the mandarine oranges.
- Sprinkle the remaining 25g. ground almonds over bottom of well buttered large springform pan.
- Decorate the top with sliced almonds and remaining oranges and bake at 350F or 175C for 1 hour.
- Cool completely, dust with powdered sugar upon serving if desired.. Enjoy....
