How to make it

  • Drain mandarin oranges, saving juice.
  • Beat the eggs in large bowl about 10 minutes until thick and creamy.
  • Add sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt.
  • Stir in the quark, cream, mascarpone, juice, and 50g. ground almonds.
  • Sieve the pudding powder into the mixture, mixing well.
  • Then carefully folk in 4/5 of the mandarine oranges.
  • Sprinkle the remaining 25g. ground almonds over bottom of well buttered large springform pan.
  • Decorate the top with sliced almonds and remaining oranges and bake at 350F or 175C for 1 hour.
  • Cool completely, dust with powdered sugar upon serving if desired.. Enjoy....
