Brie Torte

This elegant appetizer goes together quickly for a sure crowd pleaser. Bremner Wafers are recommended if available.
Ingredients
- 1 15 - 16 ounce wheel brie cheese shopping list
- 1/3 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 1/3 cup dried tart cherries, chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup pecans, finely chopped shopping list
- 2 teaspoons fresh thyme shopping list
- crackers shopping list
How to make it
- Freeze Brie 30 minutes til firm
- Slice Brie in half horizontally
- Combine butter, cherries, pecans & thyme
- Evenly spread mixture on one round of Brie, cut side up
- Top with other piece of Brie, cut side down
- Lightly press together. Wrap in plastic wrap
- Refrigerate 1 - 2 hours
- To serve, bring to room termperature
