Butterscotch Dessert

Can be made without the burnt sugar but better with it - it can be obtained from Triple K Mfg. Co., Shenanadoah, IA, 51601 thru the web - have never seen in stores in the South
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups flour shopping list
- 1 1/4 sticks margarine shopping list
- 1/2 cup nuts shopping list
- 8 oz creme cheese shopping list
- 1 cup powdered sugar shopping list
- 1 cup Cool Whip shopping list
- 2 boxes instant butterscotch pudding mix (smaller ones) shopping list
- 3 cups milk shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1 tsp burnt sugar flavoring shopping list
- more Cool Whip shopping list
- more nuts shopping list
How to make it
- FIRST LAYER
- Mix nuts, flour and margarine and spread in 9x13 inch pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes and cool
- SECOND LAYER
- Mix creme cheese, sugar and cool whip and spread over the cool first layer
- THIRD LAYER
- Mix milk, vanilla, butterscotch pudding and burnt sugar and spread over second layer
- FOURTH LAYER
- Spread with cool whip and sprinkle with nuts
- Put in refrigerator until sets up
