I find the best bet with turkey recipes is to neglect to mention it's turkey until someone says how good it is!

Okay- so it was requested that I post how exactly my accident came to be....here's the modifications:
1 lb. ground turkey
1 Tbsp dried minced onion
1 pack saltine crackers
2 eggs ('cause I no longer had the recipe in
front of me)
3-5 Tablespoons spaghetti sauce (i eye-balled it
so it was probably closer to 5-6)
3 tsp grated parmesean cheese (again...eye-balled
it)
Directions
Mix thorougly with hands.
Shape into patties (they'll actually resemble
giant mushy meatballs).
Fry slowly.
When done I served with a sprinkle of parmesean on each patty but next time I'm going to put a little dollop of the spaghetti sauce (warmed up) on top too. We also had a very colorful fresh garden salad on the side. may be odd...but YUMMY!

I had to check out your recipe...turkey burgers are gooooood. You are right, don't mention they are turkey and they'd never know!

I liked this recipe but went to my fridge and found I didn't have A-1 sauce, sausage, or green onions. In place of A-1 I used spaghetti sauce (yeah, it sounded wierd to me too, instead of green onions I used minced dried onion, added grated parmesean cheese to the mix and on top, and nixed the sausage. I plopped them in the skillet (with olive oil) and served them with fresh veggies (I happened to have tomatoe slices and baby carrots). My kids loved them and even requested a left-over patty for their lunches the next day.
:)
