Tuna Macaroni Salad Recipe

Ingredients

1 (6-7 oz.) pkg. shell macaroni, cooked according to package directions

1 cup cubed cheddar cheese

1 can tuna, drained

3/4 c. sweet pickles

1/3 c. minced onion

1 cup salad dressing or mayonnaise

3/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

Directions

Cook macaroni according to package directions, drain and rinse with cold water.

Combine macaroni cheese chunks, tuna, pickles and onion in a large bowl.

Stir together mayonnaise, salt and pepper; pour over macaroni mixture and toss.

Cover and chil at least 3 hours.

Except for the cheese, I've been making this for years. When my son went out "on his own", I used to make him double batches and take them to him in dollar store bowls because he never brought my bowl back! The cheese sounds like a great addition to my old favorite.
