Grilled Beef Brochette with Curied Green Apple Sauce

- 3 lbs. beef sirloin steak or boned, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 3-inch strips shopping list
- bamboo skewers soaked in water for 3 hours shopping list
- 12 oz. Culinary Traditions™ green apple, thawed shopping list
- 6 oz. peanut butter shopping list
- 2 oz. Culinary Traditions™ ginger, thawed shopping list
- 4 - 6 tsp. curry powder shopping list
- 2 oz. fresh lime juice shopping list
- Optional: 1 tbsp. bottled hot pepper sauce to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat broiler or grill. Thread meat onto skewers, ribbon like. Place on lightly oiled broiler pan or grill. Broil or grill 5-8 minutes, turning once.
- In food processor, place remaining ingredients, cover and process until smooth.
- Flavor Twists:
- This sauce is also excellent with The Perfect Purée White Peach, Apricot, or Mango.
- Serving Suggestion:
- Serve skewered beef or chicken with small bowls of sauce for dipping. If serving as a main course, serve rice.
