Ingredients

How to make it

  • Make slits in brisket with a sharp knife and insert garlic slivers all over brisket.
  • Place brisket in a large roasting pan (fat side up), cover all over with sliced onions (will look like alot of onions but these will cook down).
  • Pour a bottle of chili sauce over brisket and onions, fill empty bottle with water and add to pan.
  • Season with a good amount of cracked black pepper and salt
  • Roast uncovered in a preheated 250 degree oven
  • Baste roast every 20 mins for the first 1 1/2 hours
  • Pour a 12oz beer over roast, cover with foil and bake for 2 1/2 hours more.
  • Remove brisket from pan, and rest covered with foil.
  • Place pan on stove top over med high heat, Skim fat off juices add a couple dashes of worchestershire and thicken with a corn starch slurry. Enjoy
