How to make it

  • In a large pot , just cover macaroni with milk and bring to a boil and cook and stir frequently until pasta is cooked and most of milk absorbed
  • Drain any excess liquid and reserve
  • Place drained macaroni into pot and turn heat to low.
  • Add butter and stir to melt , then add all the cheeses, stirring to melt cheese and combine
  • Now Check out the consistency of the macaroni
  • If you think cheese is still too thick and sticky add the reserved drained liquid along with enough fresh milk, stirring to get the creamy texture you desire
  • Season liberally with salt and pepper to taste
  • I added some fresh minced garlic and some fresh minced parsley which I like to add
  • if you wish one may add the butter and bread crumbs /r crushed potato chips as a topping and briefly place under the broiler to brown etc
