How to make it

  • Sift the flour, baking soda and salt together.
  • Combine the egg, milk and sour cream and mix well.
  • Add to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Stir in the melted margerine or butter.
  • If you want an even lighter pancake, beat the egg white until it holds peaks and fold in gently at the very last.
  • Bake the cakes on a hot griddle.
  • Place on platter and serve with Margerine/Butter and favorite syrup over top.

    I really thought I'd made every kind of pancake there was. This is new to me. Tomorrow is Sunday here and this is breakfast. Nice post.
