How to make it

  • The best gizzard's you'll ever have. It's my mother-in-law's recipe, very Easy and Melt in your mouth.
  • Add gizzard's to a frying pan.
  • Add 1 beer of your choice.
  • If you would like, add some garlic salt or powder.
  • Cook on med low.
  • Crack lid on pan and walk away for 2 hour's.
  • Optional:
  • Even better, after 1 1/2 hours add 4 to 5 Italian sausage sliced up.
  • 4 garlic cloves in sliced up chunks.
  • let it cook for the remaining 1/2 hour. To Die For.

I cooked mine for an hour and a half on as low as I could turn it (I have a gas stove) and the beer was evaporated so I added 3-4 tablespoons of butter and several dashes of hot sauce then cooked it for 10 more minutes with lid on. I served it with bleu cheese dressing on the side. The best gizzards I've ever had! Awesome!

P.S. I put 5 whole garlic cloves and seasonings in with the gizzards and beer at the very beginning.
