Double Marshmallow Hot Chocolate

It's a cold winter midnight swim with lunatic friends. Waves are crashing tumultuously but it goes unnoticed. Cozying to a warm fire, and voices singing to wake the quiet of the night - sipping hot cocoa.
Ingredients
- 4 cups milk shopping list
- 1 1/3 cups marshmallow creme shopping list
- 1/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup unsweetened Dutch processed cocoa shopping list
- Pinch salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows shopping list
How to make it
- Combine the milk, marshmallow creme, sugar, cocoa, and salt in a large heavy saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat, whisking constantly, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture bubbles. Lower the heat to medium-low and cook until the larger clumps of marshmallow creme dissolve, leaving small bits in the hot chocolate, and the hot chocolate thickens. Pour or ladle into mugs or cups and top with the miniature marshmallows. Serve hot.
