How to make it

  • Season mince,brown and drain through sieve (put to one side)
  • Heat Olive oil in a pan add onions,carrots and cook low to medium heat for 10 mins.
  • Add both Tomato and Garlic puree and cook for a further 10 mins,
  • Add stock cubes to 700ml boiling water and add to pot.Put the browned mince and all the rest of the ingredients,bring to the boil then simmer on a very low heat for 2 hours stirring occasionally.
  • Enjoy with Mash potatoes (add 2 crushed Garlic cloves when boiling potatoes)
  • Best served the next day
