Southwestern Lasagne

- 2lbs ground beef shopping list
- 2 green peppers - Diced shopping list
- 2 Medium onions - Diced shopping list
- 1 Can Ro Tel Diced tomatos w/ green chilis shopping list
- 1 4oz can tomato Paste - No salt shopping list
- 2 Cans tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 pkg Barilla no boil Lasagne pasta shopping list
- 16oz cream cheese shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 2 Cups Mexican blend cheese shopping list
- 2 Cups Quesadilla cheese shopping list
- ancho chili Powder shopping list
- cayenne pepper shopping list
- cumin shopping list
- coriander shopping list
- Cinnimon shopping list
- garlic powder shopping list
- smoked paprika shopping list
- salt shopping list
- Pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Brown 2lbs Ground Beef with Diced Onion, Green Peppers, 1 Tbspn Ancho Chili Powder, 1 Tbspn Garlic Powder, 1 Tbspn Cumin, 1 Tbspn Smoked Paprika, 1 Tbspn Coriander, 1 Tsp Cinnimon, Salt & Pepper to taste.
- Drain
- Add 2 16oz cans of Tomato Sauce
- Add 1 4oz can of Tomato Paste
- Add 1 12oz Can Ro Tel Diced Tomatos w/ Green Chilis
- Stir in 2 Tbspn Ancho Chili Powder, 1 Tbspn Cumin, Coriander, Smoked Paprika, Garlic Powder.
- Simmer 30 mins to 1 hr
- Beat 1 Egg and mix into 16oz Softened Cream Cheese
- Stir into the Cream Cheese, Coriander and Red Pepper Flakes to taste
- In a 13x9 Baking Dish:
- Spoon in 1 cup Chili Mixture and layer 4 sheets uncooked pasta
- Spread 1/3 of the cream cheese mixture over the pasta
- Spoon approx 1 cup Chili mixture over the Cream Cheese
- Spread 1 Cup of Shredded Cheese over the Chili
- Repeat layering steps twice more
- Last Layer will be Pasta, Chili and Shredded Cheese
- Cover and bake at 375 for 1 hour
- Remove Foil and bake 5 more minutes to brown Cheese
- Remove and let set 10 mins before serving

Sounds great, Chef...(great name, btw! lol)...I love the cream cheese in this especially, and have been seeing this used in even 'traditional' lasagne recipes. Adds tons of flavor...of course, I love the southwest flavors, being from Texas...will giv...more
