Semolina Suji Halwa

- semolina (Suji/Rawa) 1 cup shopping list
- coconut desiccated - 1 cup shopping list
- sugar - 1 cup shopping list
- milk powder - 1 cup shopping list
- ghee(clarified butter) 1/2 cup shopping list
- green cardamom - 1/2 tsp crushed shopping list
- evaporated milk - 400ml shopping list
- saffron - 1/2 tsp dissolved in 2 tbsp of warm milk. shopping list
How to make it
- Heat a heavy pan. put all the ingredients except evaporated milk and saffron milk.
- Cook on low heat till the mix starts browning. Keep on stirring the mix since it might stick to the pan.
- Add evaporated milk and continue cooking till ghee specs start appearing on the surface.
- Add the saffron milk and cook for another min.
- Remove from heat and spread the mix on a greased bow/plate.
- Serve at room temperature.
