- - 1 kg (2 1/4 lb.) flour shopping list

- - 200 ml (3/4 cup) sugar + 4 tbsp. for sprinkling shopping list
- - 1 tsp. vanilla extract shopping list

- - 250 ml (1 cup) milk shopping list
How to make it
- Method
- combine the flour, baking powder and salt; add the coconut, sugar, vanilla and eggs and mix well;
- gradually add the milk, mixing to form a firm but not sticky dough;
- knead for a few minutes; form into 2 loaves and place into greased bread pans;
- sprinkle the tops with a little sugar and
- bake in a 180° F (350° F) oven for about 1 hour or until golden brown;
- serve warm or cold.
