How to make it

  • Melt butter in a large heavy skillet. Add celery, onions and mushrooms; cook until onions are yellow, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in some bread cubes; repeat, stirring to prevent browning.
  • Combine with remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Toss lightly. Cool and pack loosely into turkey.
