How to make it

  • Toast seeds in hot dry skillet for 2 minutes. Grind
  • Bring peas to boil in pot of water (3 mins), then soak for 1 hour. Rinse.
  • Heat oil in skillet and gently saute onion, garlic and ginger for 3 minutes.
  • Put all ingredients in slow cooker and cook for 4-5 hours high or 8-10 low.
  • Stir in cilantro and coconut milk, if using.
