Stumps Hot Fudge Sauce

- 2oz unsweetened chocolate shopping list
- 1T butter shopping list
- 1/2c boiling water shopping list
- 1c sugar shopping list
- 2T corn syrup shopping list
- 1tsp vanilla or 2T rum shopping list
How to make it
- Melt in double boiler: Chocolate.
- Add butter and melt.
- Stir and blend well.
- Add boiling water and stir.
- Stir in sugar and corn syrup.
- Permit sauce to boil readily but not too furiously, over direct heat.
- Do not stir.
- If you wish an ordinary sauce, boil for 5 minutes.
- If you wish a hot sauce that will harden over ice cream, boil for about 8 minutes.
- Add vanilla or rum just before serving.
- When cool, this sauce is very thick. It may be reheated over boiling water. Stores in refridgerator for several weeks.
