Beef and Pork Picadillo

Picadillo is a Cuban Meat Sauce. The flavors really work well in this dish.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil shopping list
- 1 small onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 samll green pepper, chopped shopping list
- 2 crushed garlic cloves shopping list
- 1 cup tomato sauce shopping list
- 2 oz. tomato puree shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vinegar shopping list
- 1 tablespoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1 lb. cooked ground beef shopping list
- 1/2 lb. cooked ground pork shopping list
- 1/2 cup dry white wine shopping list
- 1/3 cup raisins shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped black olives shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- 1/3 cup cooked mushrooms shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil and saute onion, green pepper and garlic
- Add tomato sauce and tomato puree
- Cook 1-2 minutes
- Add vinegar, salt and pepper
- Add beef and pork
- Cook for 5-8 minutes
- Add remaining ingredients
- Cook over medium high heat until liquid evaporates and meat is well heated
