Pretty Damn Good Meatloaf

- 1 pound ground chuck shopping list
- 1 pound ground pork shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup unseasoned bread crumbs (add about 1/8 cup more if needed) shopping list
- 1 ¼ tsp crushed thyme shopping list
- 1 ¼ tsp ground sage shopping list
- 1 ¼ tsp marjoram shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 tsp. black pepper shopping list
- 1 cup grated carrots shopping list
- ¾ cup celery, chopped small shopping list
- 1 cup onion, chopped small shopping list
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all together very well. (I use my hands.)
- Form loaf in large roasting pan (i.e., turkey roasting pan) or use at least two regular-size loaf pans.
- Bake 1 ¼ hours at 350 degrees F .
- If you prefer, you can very carefully drain grease every 30 minutes. Cool for about 10 minutes; slice 1 inch thick.
