How to make it

  • Boil sauce ingredients together until sticky.
  • Fry the shallot, garlic and ginger in sesame oil until crisp.
  • Shell the egg and fry until lightly browned. Cut into quarters and arrange on top of noodle/rice, top with the fried stuff and pour sauce on top.
  • Serve with fresh parsley or coriander, and salad and pickles if desired.
  • Serves 1
