  • Heat oven to 350`F.
  • 2. FOR CAKE, combine oil and sugar in large bowl at medium speed of electric mixer.
  • 3. Add eggs.
  • 4. Beat well.
  • 5. Combine next 6 ingredients.
  • 6. Add to oil mixture.
  • 7. Beat until just blended.
  • 8. Stir in apples.
  • 9. Spread evenly in ungreased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan. FOR TOPPING, combine sugar, nuts, and cinnamon.
  • 10. Sprinkle over batter.
  • 11. Bake at 350`F for 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • 12. Cut into 3 x 2-1/4-inch rectangles.
  • 13. Serve warm or at room temperature.
