Silvanas Carrot Cake

- 3 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup regular granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 3 cups finely shredded carrots shopping list
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 20 ounce can of crushed pineapple drained shopping list
- 3/4 cup shredded sweetened coconut shopping list
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel shopping list
- Frost with cream cheese frosting shopping list
How to make it
- Grease and lightly flour 2 -9 1/2 inch round baking pans.
- Mix in a large bowl the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon.
- Add the carrots, pineapple, oil,vanilla extract, lemon peel and eggs.
- Beat until all the ingredients are combined with a mixer on low.
- Add the walnuts and stir in.
- Pour the batter in the prepared pans.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes.
- Remove from oven and from pans carefully.
- Cool on a wire rack thoroughly before frosting.
