  • DRAIN ASPARAGUS
  • MIX WITH CHOPPED HAM AND PLACE MIXTURE IN AN OVENPROOF DISH
  • CHEESE SAUDE:
  • POUR MILK INTO SAUCEPAN, RESERVING APPROX200ML IN MEASURING JUG.
  • ADD FLOUR, MUSTARD POWDER AND SALT AND PEPPER TO MILK IN JUG
  • MIX WITH FORK UNTIL SMOOTH
  • ADD GRATED CHEESE TO MILK IN SAUCEPAN AND HEAT GENLY (CHEESE WILL MELT)
  • ADD FLOUR MIXTURE TO MILK IN SAUCEPAN, RAISE THE HEAT SLIGHTLY AND STIR CONTINUOUSLY UNTIL SAUCE IS THICK AND SMOOTH AND STARTS TO BOIL
  • POUR SAUCE OVER ASPARAGUS AND HAM MIXTURE AND MIX
  • GARNISH WITH PAPRIKA
  • BAKE APPROX 30 MIN AT 180C
  • SERVE WITH A MIXED SALAD AND CRUSTY ROLLS
  • BON APPETIT :)
