Bratwurst Braids

- 1 can Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls shopping list
- 4 tbsp spicy mustard shopping list
- 1 cup sauerkraut, drained on paper towels OR shopping list
- 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced shopping list
- 4 cooked smoked bratwursts shopping list
- 1 egg, beaten shopping list
- 1 tsp caraway seeds shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 375; spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray
- Unroll the dough and press into 4 rectangles
- Spread 1 tbsp mustard on top within ½ inch of the edges
- Add ¼ cup sauerkraut (or onion) and 1 bratwurst
- On the long sides of each rectangle, make 5 cuts at an angle and 1 inch apart almost to the egde
- Braid the strips of dough over the bratwurst with the ends slightly overlapping
- Brush with the egg wash and sprinkle with caraway seeds
- Bake 15-20 minutes or until brown
- Serve with extra mustard
