Ingredients

How to make it

  • Slice chicken breasts in half, careful not to cut all the way through.
  • Take 2 pieces of Honey ham and roll around cheese slice until cheese is fully covered. Continue process untill you have enough for all the chicken.
  • Place inside chicken, place toothpicks so ham & cheese pocket is totally enclosed.
  • Place flour, eggs & bread crumbs into containers, big enough for the chicken to fit into.
  • Dredge through flour, then egg bath, and then into the crumbs.
  • Place onto cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 45-60 mins, or until the top is crusty and brown.
  • **Some cheese may escape**

    Thank you Lovebreezy :)
It does sound about right :)Although i am a Danish Canadian :P
I have tried different cheeses in this recipe as well as different hams, like maple (Being Canadian) and i have to say this version is my fav. Black forest ham & swiss works but it is plain Jane compared to this :) Enjoy, as this will one day be served in my future cafe ;)

Not knowing what German Butter Cheese was, I tried to find out. This is what I found:

    Butterkäse
The name of this cheese comes from its buttery taste and color. It is a mild cheese and is often referred to as Damenkäse or "Ladies Cheese".

So did I find the correct info? Recipe sounds delish.
