- Dough: shopping list
- 1/2 cup yogurt shopping list
- 1/2 cup sunflower oil shopping list
- 1 stick unsalted butter at room temperature shopping list
- 3/4 cup icing sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 2-3/4 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- Filling: shopping list
- 4 granny smith apples peeled and grated shopping list
- 4 tablespoon sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1/3 cup walnuts crumbled shopping list
- 9 inch pie plate oiled shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all the crust ingredients in a large bowl and divide in two.
- Wrap half in plastic wrap and chill in the freezer for 45 minutes.
- Meanwhile spread the other half in an oiled pie plate with your palm equally.
- Also spread the dough on top of the edges.
- Mix filling ingredients in a bowl then spread over the dough equally.
- Take the second half of the dough from the freezer and grate then gently arrange over the filling.
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until the crust is light brown.
- Immediately sprinkle icing sugar on top using a small strainer after you take tart out of oven.
- Serve while still warm with ice cream on top.
