Ingredients

How to make it

  • Wash and halve green peppers lengthwise; remove the seeds. Lightly mix the beef, rice, onion, salt, pepper, and 1/2 cup Hunt's sauce. Pile into pepper halves, arrange in shallow baking dish. Pour remaining Hunt's sauce over peppers. Cover and bake at 350 F for 45 minutes. Remove cover; top each pepper with cheese; bake 15 minutes longer.
  • Serve.

    I love this recipe. Our house burned in 2007; California wildfires! Lost all cookbooks and have been hunting for the Hunts Cookbook and never found it!! Today is my lucky day! I have found the Stuffed Green Pepper recipe!!!!

    This is yummy! Do you have the recipe for Pepper Steak that was in Hunt's Complete Tomato Cookbook which was published in the '70's. I can't find mine and my daughter really wants it. Thank you so much.
