Winters Healthy Salad

- 1 1/2 - 2 cups chopped raw cauliflower (I slice thinly in food processor) shopping list
- 1/4 cup red onion, sliced shopping list
- 3/4 cups celery bits or slices shopping list
- 1 red bellpepper, cut up in bit sizes or rings (winter time, I use red bells roasted in jars) shopping list
- green onion, sliced shopping list
- Dressing: marzetti's low fat caesar or Paul Newman's tuscan spray shopping list
- or poppyseed, ~~~whatever suits your fancy! shopping list
- Instead of croutons, I use a dried vegetables seasoning: Kimchi Furikake rice Seasoning* (by jfc intl, and ajishima foods ltd) 2 teaspoons sprinkled over the salad just before or after the wet. shopping list
- other options: bok choy, baby bok choy, (grated carrots + grated beets is gorgeous ) cabbages, savoy , purple, green, sprouts, peas, pea pods, ..... shopping list
- * the crunchy sprinkle has fish extract shopping list
How to make it
- Pick a salad bowl, and as the veggies are cut, throw them in. When all prepped, and JUST before eating (anti-soggy plan) toss with a small amount of dressing ie 2 tsps, or 10 sprays.
