- * 3/4 cup unbleached all purpose flour shopping list
- * 1/4 cup Milled flax seed shopping list
- * 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper shopping list
- * 1/2 tsp Hungarian hot paprika shopping list
- * 1/2 tsp ground thyme shopping list
- * 1/2 tsp dried mustard shopping list
- * 1/2 tsp chili powder shopping list
- * 1/2 cup 50/50 butter Blend With extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- * 2 cup Extra Sharp Shredded cheddar cheese (cracker Barrel) shopping list
- * 1/4 cup water shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Combine mustard powder and seasonings with the flour and mix well.
- Cut butter into the flour mixture.
- Add grated cheese to the flour and mix well.
- NOTE: For those who like to grate their own cheese like I do, 1 8oz block of cheese is 2 cups shredded.
- Add the water and knead for a short time until the dough forms a ball.
- Take one quarter of the dough at a time and roll out very thin (about 1/8 inch).
- Cut into crackers, prick the tops with a fork, and bake on a greased cookie sheet for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Put into a container and allow to sit overnight uncovered.
