Badam Paneer Curry

- 200gms paneer (cottage cheese) shopping list
- 2 onions shopping list
- 1/2" ginger piece shopping list
- 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds(powdered) shopping list
- 1tbsp poppy seeds shopping list
- 1tbsp broken cashewnuts shopping list
- 1/2tsp chilli powder shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 1tsp garam masala shopping list
- 1cup coconut milk shopping list
- 2tbsp curd shopping list
- 3tbsp cream shopping list
- 4tbsp clarified butter shopping list
- 10 almonds shopping list
How to make it
- Cut paneer into 1/4" square pieces
- Grind onion and ginger to a paste
- Grind cashewnuts and poppy seeds together
- Blanch and split almonds
- Heat claried butter
- Fry almonds to a golden brown in colour
- remove and keep aside
- Add onion paste to clarified butter. Cook till golden brown in colour
- Add cashewnut paste. Cook for 1-2 minutes
- Add chilli powder and cuminseed powder
- Add curd and cook till butter separates
- Add coconut milk and salt, cook for 5-7 minutes
- Add garam masala and cream
- Remove from fire
- Add cottage cheese
