How to make it

  • Cut paneer into 1/4" square pieces
  • Grind onion and ginger to a paste
  • Grind cashewnuts and poppy seeds together
  • Blanch and split almonds
  • Heat claried butter
  • Fry almonds to a golden brown in colour
  • remove and keep aside
  • Add onion paste to clarified butter. Cook till golden brown in colour
  • Add cashewnut paste. Cook for 1-2 minutes
  • Add chilli powder and cuminseed powder
  • Add curd and cook till butter separates
  • Add coconut milk and salt, cook for 5-7 minutes
  • Add garam masala and cream
  • Remove from fire
  • Add cottage cheese
