Stumps Basic Spritz Cookies 1 Recipe

How to make it

  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Beat in egg yolk, orange extract, and zest.
  • Sift salt with flour and add.
  • Put through cookie press onto cookie sheets.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes at 425-450 degrees.
  • *For chocolate spritz, add 5T cocoa and use a whole egg. Use the flat tip to make long flat chocolate spritz.

    What a wonderful buttery,fragile 'spritzen' cookie recipe.

    One thing may I inquire about please,and that is the temperture of said cookie,425 to 450 degrees seems rather high.

    Thank-you for another of you beloved Grandmother's recipes,it is very nice of you to share them.
