Cashew Pea Salad

- 3/4 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar shopping list
- 1 garlic clove minced shopping list
- 3 teaspoons Dijon mustard shopping list
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar shopping list
- 10 ounces frozen peas thawed shopping list
- 2 celery ribs thinly sliced shopping list
- 3 green onions thinly sliced including some of the tops shopping list
- 1/2 cup sour cream shopping list
- 4 bacon strips cooked and crumbled shopping list
- 3/4 cup chopped cashews shopping list
- lettuce leaves and tomato wedges shopping list
How to make it
- For dressing combine the first nine ingredients in a small bowl then mix well.
- Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.
- In large bowl combine peas, celery and onions.
- Combine sour cream and 2 tablespoons of the dressing and mix well.
- Fold into the pea mixture and just before serving stir in bacon and cashews.
- Serve on lettuce leaves with a tomato garnish.
