Cran-apple Oatmeal - Sugar-free

- Ingredients: shopping list
- 2 cups 1% or 2% milk shopping list
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries shopping list
- ½ tsp. ground cinnamon shopping list
- ¼ tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 cup old-fashioned or quick oats, uncooked shopping list
- ¾ cup chopped apple shopping list
- 3 packets Equal or equivalent shopping list
- 2 Tbs. Chopped pecans ( optional ) shopping list
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract shopping list
How to make it
- Combine milk, cranberries, cinnamon and salt in a medium saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add oats and apple. Simmer, uncovered, 5 to 6 minutes for old-fashioned oats or 1 to 2 minutes for quick oats, stirring occasionally until most of liquid has been absorbed. Remove from heat. Stir in Equal, nuts and vanilla extract.
- Nutritional Values: Calories per serving: 350, Fat: 4g, Cholesterol: 5mg, Sodium: 437mg, Carbohydrate: 64g,
- NOTE: I do not recomend this for the Diabetic becauce the carb are higher that what is recomended for the Diabetic.
